***The Grand Strand Chapter is Recruiting New Chapter Leaders***
The Grand Strand Chapter is currently looking for new leaders for specific roles! If you have the interest and the skills, or have any questions, please reach out to chair@grandstrand.surfrider.org! All roles are a two year commitment and require about 1-5 hours/week.
We are currently recruiting for:
Treasurer - serves as the financial custodian for the chapter, safeguarding the chapter’s funds and ensuring their responsible management.
Volunteer Activity Coordinator - ensuring volunteers are connected to opportunities identified by the chapter by assisting with engaging, recruiting and supporting volunteers.
Communications Coordinator - responsible for crafting and disseminating information for the public that promotes the chapter's work, helps engage volunteers, and attracts new supporters
